(None of which is Boccherini's fault!) u/DeadBothan's point is well-taken, although I'd like to think one can have an infectious enthusiasm, and even a kind of "seriousness", that still conveys excitement and joy and overwhelming wonder, as e.g. Luigi Boccherinis famous Minuet and Trio arranged for various chamber ensembles by David Bussick. Time to get back to practicing piano! :)ĮDIT: With the calm rationality of a peaceful morning, I do see that this is indeed kind of the wrong place for this rant. These are the things we live for, but it's all the other nonsense- the fancy, sophisticated implications- that impose themselves, like a barrier over the ears of our friends, who therefore don't think they like the music, and don't get to know the music.Įnd of rant. The opening section of this Minuet is perhaps one of the best known melodies of all times. Or the pure feeling of hearing the cosmic ticking in a Bach fugue. Renato Bellucci Teaches Luigi Boccherini Minuet for guitar. ![]() Or the unbearable yearning of Mahler's fourth symphony, as if life being any more beautiful would be catastrophic.
